Program Description

Gozo is an enchanting island that hides a rich history at each step. The unique means of transportation that is the tuk-tuk will allow you to discover the most hidden places of this beautiful island. Pick up from the hotel and arrive at the port, take a boat to Gozo and change transportation to a tuk-tuk. The first point of the tour is the Church of St. John the Baptist, known as the Rotunda in Xewkiji. This impressive church prides itself as the third tallest unsupported dome in the world. Opportunity to climb to the roof of the rotunda, where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views. Drive to the next destination which is the Sanap Cliffs. They are one of the highest points in Gozo. These impressive cliffs are a hidden gem and offer breathtaking views of Malta and Comino in the distance. The next stop on the tour is the town of Xlendi. This is one of the most charming and recognizable places on Gozo. Xlendi is a beautiful seaside resort with a wonderful little bay surrounded by picturesque cliffs. Next, visit two well-preserved public baths built by the Order of the Knights of St. John in Fontana. Next stop at the medieval fortress known locally as Cittadella, with its distinctive skyline and impressive military architecture. Drive to the basilica and sanctuary of Ta' Pinu. This spectacular basilica is one of Gozo's most distinctive landmarks. Continue driving through Gozo's picturesque streets to reach the salt panes. The salt pans spread for several more kilometers on Gozo's north coast. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, return to the harbor and change means of transportation to a boat. Cruise around the island of Comino, a stop with an opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters (in summer only). Return to the hotel.
