Program Description
A walk through the center of Poznan will be an opportunity to see Mickiewicz Square with the Collegium Maius building, the Opera House, Mickiewicz University and the magnificent 20th century Imperial Castle. Continue to the picturesque Srodka district. Visit the Gothic Cathedral on the island of Ostrow Tumski, the site of Poland's baptism in 966. Drive to the magnificent Old Town famous for its Renaissance Town Hall dominating the Market Square. Stroll through the charming streets, visit the impressive Baroque church and the Franciscan Church with a miniature model of old Poznan. Walk to Liberty Square surrounded by 19th century monuments such as the National Museum, Raczynski Library, Bazar Hotel and Arcadia. Return to the hotel.
