Program Description

Visit to  one of the largest brandy distilleries in Albania, "Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu" operating continuously since 1933. During the visit, tasting the famous Skënderbeu brandy and time for shopping. Next, transfer to the city center and guided tour of Durres where you will learn about the 3000 years history of the largest Port-City in Albania. Then a visit to the Roman amphitheater from the 2nd century AD. with a capacity of 20,000 spectators. Walk along the representative boulevard Bulevardi Epidamn to Freedom Square with Xhamia e Madhe (Great Mosque) and the newest tourist attraction on the map of Durres - the “Peeping Tourist” museum. An opportunity to learn what an anti-nuclear shelter for the urban population looked like, what could not be missing in a typical Albanian home and why tourists had their hair cut by a barber at the border and why they could not travel by bus or talk to the locals. Return to hotels in the evening.

If someone likes brandy, I highly recommend it, but if you don`t like it, I don`t recommend it. Durres, if there is a good guide, I recommend it, but I don`t recommend it with the guide Mari...
