Wild nature, Albanian hospitality and azure beaches. In the morning, we depart from the hotels towards the picturesque Zvernec Lagoon – a peaceful spot with a wooden bridge leading to an island where a historic monastery stands. Next, we drive through the agricultural Shushice River valley, offering a chance to observe the everyday life of Albanians. We take a coffee break (included) in a family-run café and continue along the valley. Then, we climb up the Albanian mountains on an off-road trail steeply ascending among wild mint and oregano. In the mountain village of Pilur, we visit an Orthodox church and enjoy a homemade lunch in the garden of a local family. We head to the coast by a road with a panoramic view of the Albanian Riviera. In Himarë, we relax on the beach, unwinding after our mountain adventures. On the way back to the hotels, we slowly pass through the famous Llogara Pass – the breathtaking views and the thrilling serpentine roads will leave lasting impressions.
