Begin your journey with transfer from Santa Marta toward the Don Diego River – one of the most beautiful spots at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where you will embark on a tubing trip down the river all the way to its mouth at the sea. During the peaceful drift, you can admire the richness of local flora and fauna – from tropical birds to the plants growing along the riverbanks. Then you will return by boat to the Taironaka Reserve and have some time for sightseeing (approx. 45 min.). The program includes a visit to the small Taironaka Museum, which presents the history and culture of the region’s ancient inhabitants – the Tayrona people. After the tour, there's free time for swimming in the Don Diego River. Then you will walk back to the parking area (approx. 30 min.) and return to the hotels.
