Program Description

On this excursion, you will combine the fascinating history of the ancient world with some of Italy's most beautiful landscapes.

Start your day with a morning drive from Naples to a famous archaeological site in Europe. Upon arrival in Pompeii, you will meet a licensed guide and set off on an approximately 2-hour guided tour of the ruins. Walking along ancient streets frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, you will discover the daily life, customs, and architecture of the former inhabitants. You will see, among others, the theatre, necropolis, thermal baths, and impressive houses that once belonged to Pompeii’s wealthiest citizens. It is a unique journey into the past that brings history vividly to life.

Next, you will travel towards the picturesque Amalfi Coast, where dramatic cliffs meet the crystal-clear sea. Along the way, a panoramic stop lets you take in breathtaking views and capture unforgettable photos.

The next highlight is Amalfi, one of the most charming towns along the coast. You will enjoy 1.5 to 2 hours of free time, which you can spend strolling through narrow streets, shopping for local souvenirs, visiting Duomo Cathedral, or relaxing on the beach. This is the perfect moment to soak in the authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.

At the end of the tour, you will return to Naples.
