Program Description
Drive from the meeting point to Pompeii in the morning. This ancient city, which was completely covered by ash in 79 A.D. as a result of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, is today an exciting experience for visiting tourists. Upon arrival, guided tour of the archaeological park. Time for lunch at a local restaurant. Then transfer to nearby Ercolano and continue the tour - visiting Vesuvius aboard an open-top bus. During the tour, the opportunity to listen to an audio guide who will introduce the history of the area. Photo opportunity at the highest point of Great Cono (additional cost) and admire the magical scenery of the Gulf of Naples and the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida. Return to the meeting point in the evening.
