Program Description

Two-day safari to Taita Hills Sanctuary and Ngutuni Sanctuary bordering Eastern Tsavo.

Day 1. Transfer from hotels to Taita Hills Sanctuary, where you’ll have the chance to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, and more. Accommodation will be at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, a unique hotel elevated on stilts beside a watering hole, frequently visited by animals. After settling in, enjoy a brief drive through Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary for an initial encounter with local wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon safari. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2. Start the day with an early drive through the reserve. If weather permits, you may catch a glimpse of the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, check out and proceed to Ngutuni Sanctuary for a final safari experience to observe more wildlife. Lunch will be provided before returning to Mombasa, where you’ll be transferred back to your hotel accommodations.
