Program Description

Transfer from pick-up point in Inverness, transfer south to Dochgarroch, the start of the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. Opportunity to take a cruise along the canal and Loch Ness to reach Urquhart Castle situated on the shores of the lake. Free time to explore the castle. Then a drive to Invermoriston to see the famous bridge and waterfalls. At certain times of the year it is possible to see leaping salmon here. Then arrival at Fort Augustus, a pretty village situated on the south shore of Loch Ness. Free time for lunch. The village offers great views of the lake. Those wishing to visit, for an additional charge, can visit the Caledonian Canal Centre and learn about its history. Next, a visit to the Foyers waterfall. The last stop is Dores beach - a stunning spot with an unobstructed view of the lake, giving you one last chance to spot Nessie! Return to the drop-off point in Inverness.
