Cai Be - Mekong Delta

Pickup from hotels. The tour begins with a drive to the city of Cai Be, 160 km away. On the way there will be a stop to admire the famous rice fields. First, a motorboat ride on the Tien River to the Cai Be "floating" market, where traders sell, among other things, vegetables and fruits. Then a visit to a local coconut candy factory in My Tho. The next stop is a wandering tour of villages in the Mekong Delta. A concert of music called "Don cai tai tu," which combines elements of court and folk music. Next is a boat cruise along the Mekong Delta to Tan Phong Island. On site, a lesson in cooking Vietnamese dishes, such as grilled fish in a banana leaf or fish stewed in a clay pot. Finally, a bike ride around the island, during which the tour will pass fruit orchards or a bonsai garden. Return to Ho Chi Minh and transfer to hotels.
