Program Description
Join an afternoon adventure in West Dhofar, combining a 4x4 drive along the coast, a hike to Ain Ghaidh Waterfall and time to relax in natural surroundings. The tour starts at around 13:00 with hotel pick-up and a drive towards the western coastline.
The first part of the experience takes you along Haffa Beach, where you will enjoy a 4x4 drive along the beach between palm trees and the Arabian Sea. You will then reach the hiking starting point and, following a short safety briefing, set off towards Ain Ghaidh Waterfall. The trail is approximately 1.85 km each way and takes around 40–50 minutes in each direction, depending on the group's pace and trail conditions.
Once you reach the waterfall, there will be around 45 minutes to relax and swim in the natural pool, weather and water conditions permitting. During the break, you can enjoy traditional Omani tea, soft drinks, dates, biscuits and fresh fruit.
After returning to the vehicles, continue to Eftalquot Viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Enjoy another tea and snack break before heading back to your hotel, arriving at around 19:00.
The trail is approximately 3.7 km long in total and takes around 40–50 minutes each way.
It is rated 6/10 in difficulty and includes uneven terrain, so guests should be comfortable walking on uneven surfaces.
